SP2 install needed hacked files list

209 posts in this topic

I used the termsrv.dll with the reg patch to allow concurrent sessions and it works very good. Now I'm wondering how to take control of the "console" session without having any user intervention like it is possible to do with windows 2003.

I'm connected to the console under Martin name and I'm using my laptop to connect to the same machine under MartinRDP name. I right click to the task bar to get the Task manager windows and I click on the user tab. From there I can see my two sessions. I right click to the Martin one and I choose Take control. It pop-up a confirmation dialog on the console, I want to disable that pop-up.

Sorry guys. As my teacher says, "When you are away, you miss stuff."
Well, I've been away for a year, and I've missed a year of complaints. However, I have found a good host.
Anyone care to post links to files? Maybe a zip with all of them easy for others and myself to find.

sfc_os.dll (to disable Windows File Protection)
uxtheme.dll (for using custom themes)
tcpip.dll (to allow more than only 10 connections per port, now allows unlimited)
termsrv.dll (to allow for concurrent sessions)
winntbbu.dll (cool Matrix setup screen)

All of the above in one zip for SP2 slipstreams.
How can i Get the file termsrv.dll?

Okay, I've uploaded the file to RapidUpload for you all, also if you go to RyanVM's site, you can find updated SFC_OS.dll which no longer needs the .reg file to work, you can also find an updated uxtheme.dll file and the updated version of tcpip.sys as well. If you're wanting it updated to work with Pyrons Method, I've made an addon for it too at the same place, you'll also find my addon for this there too, as soon as I get it posted... Hope this helps everyone! :D :thumbup Edited by DisabledTrucker

Copy your modified files in the $OEM$\$$\System32 folder. Files automatic copying text-mode installation.

If these files are modified versions of those that already exist on the Windows XP cd, you could just replace them in the I386 folder.
