Ok, my copy of XP has a custom bootscreen, and when I upgrade it to SP2, it says that NTFS.sys or whatever is corrupt. Now, I know that it manually creates a boot.ini. How exactly would I remove the thing that makes boot.ini have /kernel=oemkernel.exe?

The CD has a custom bootscreen BUILT IN. Now, when it makes the boot.ini, it adds the data for the boot.ini to boot windows XP with that extra boot screen. I want to remove that extra line or so for it to boot to that bootscreen, so it'll boot to the normal bootscreen.
