Can anyone help me here...The way I have my computer set-up now is with 2 partitions. One partition is for Windows XP and Office XP. The other partition I have is all other programs and documents for 4 users. If I put a reg tweak in my batch file, and then do silent installs of programs after the tweak, would it have changed, meaning would those programs go into the new default installation path even though I haven't restarted? And for the documents, is there a registry tweak where I can have each user's Default My Documents folder change.
(E.G. Michael's Documents go to D:\Documents\Michael\, Valerie's Documents go to D:\Documents\Valerie\)
