I have winzip 8.1 installed and on some zip files, when I download from the internet IE downloads into a temporary folder before loading winzip. I dont want this to happen how can I get the save dialogue back. I can right click and do "save as" but that only works on sites that have not disabled the right mouse button. Then - when done downloading - my zip application (I use PowerArchiver) opens. I can go ahead and unzip the contents - but I can also Save As the archive where I want it. Skull Posted August 11, 2002 Share Posted August 11, 2002 Open Windows Explorer, click Tools / Folder Options. Click the File Types tab, scroll down to ZIP, then find a checkbox somewhere in there (you may have to click Advanced or something like that to find it, depending on your version of Windows) called Confirm Open After Download.
