Sorry for my english, i hope you will understand me.... I ve integrated sp2 into my xp cd, created an winnt.sif file.

It works fine, but today i burned a cd with xp, want to install ist, the raid controller works fine without disks. But after choosing the partition i gat the following erros message.

The following WERT (Host) (german, sorry) which is for the installationns SIF File is corrupt or inexistant.

Wert (Host) (german sorry) 0 in Line 1 from [SourceDiskFiles] with the key sp2.cab. The installation cannot be continued press Enter .........

I hope someone unterstand me and is able to help me, thx

Sounds like there may be an error in your winnt.sif file. If you could copy and paste it here everyone could look it over for you. Be sure to take out your product key and any other personal info first of course. :)

The problem is, that one user in this forum has an installer for many raid drivers, which adds them to txtsetup.sif, but sp2 will overritw a completely new txtsetup.sif.

So that user have to write a new programm, or must change the readmefirst.
