1. Check out what kind of installer it has.

2. Then I'm able to help you.

The Installer uses the InstallShield Wizard.

How do you insert the cd-key into it when you use your method?

I think this would be a very easy method for people who only use a computer for a couple of games or maybe for internet cafe pc's...

Did you get this to work? How do you get the install to complete? I tried moving my 3 CDs (BF1942 1/2 and Road to Rome) to a DVD to ease installation and I get an error at the end of the BF1942 disk 2 installation.

In any case, were you able to automate the serial number?

cant u make it easier & .rar/7zip up the program files directory of EA Games\battlefield 1942 & extract it 2 a new pc.. then run a .reg file u exported from your pc? when it asks for a serial, just run the .exe file inside your eReg folder of eagames\bf1942 :)

not tested it, but id be interested 2 see if it works.. it should

I used an AutoIt script to install Battlefield Vietnam, I will post the script here later today, (I need to go now)

EDIT: this is the script that I use for Battlefield Vietnam:

For more information about the automatic cd change: check here, and read my post
