I've been following the "ultimate unattended xp cd" guide to install make a CD that will install Windows XP with the client programs that we use. The program uses install shield so I'm pretty sure I can do a silent install by running "start /wait %systemdrive%\CPO2004client\Setup.exe -s" (I already created the setup.iss file and created the CPO2004client folder in the $1 folder.
Where do I put the "start /wait %systemdrive%\iCPO2004client\Setup.exe -s" command to get it to run with the windows setup, is it in the winnt.sif or somewhere else?

link to it in the guirunonce section in your winnt.sif. Check the guide for more info. It is recommended that you prepare a batch file with all the program start commands and link to that (the winnt.sif commands are different from batch files, so check)

When i created my unattended SP2 disc, i nominated the windows update section in the winnt.sif file to yes, but once the installation is complete, its gives me the Window to select Automatic Update or not!
One thing that comes to mind is in the winnt.sif file, some of the options are enclosed with " " and many are not. Could this be the problem? I used MSFN nLite to create the disk.

As far as my CD turned out, that doesn't present any problem.
