ive asked the creator for his support to create a new installer for matroska...it uses NSIS (well, it uses a different program, but its based on NSIS) and he did not include the option to silently install matroska...I gave him the option of letting me know where things go so I can make a new installer that would not require him any work, and he turned me down...so it seems unless enough people gripe about it, it will never be silently installed.

Pff, ok ok ill arrange it for you then....
As a make up for my critics on the forum and the members on it....
You can download the file from:
Matroska
Download the .zip file...
The MSI installer is located in the .zip file, unpack, etc, etc you know the drill...
Havent tested it 100% concidering it is very hard to test such codec installations when you have already installed other codec packs... Please tell me how it went if you get to testing it...
I installed everything from the first screen, left out translation files and onetime usage or whatever, I left the rest like it was...
I hope it works because I already had ff filter installed...
Use this code (edit to fit):

I do make it install from a customized k-lite codec pack now, but when I was making it install by itself, the /S switch worked fine... (don't recall which version it was for sure)

try downloading the lastest one. pls read the post above.
the new version cannot be installed silently according to the author himself. so yours must be a really old codec.

The new Version (Matroska_Pack_Full_v1.0.3.exe) works fine with "/S" as well as the *.msi one (above) does with "/qn".
Now I can play *.ogg, *.mka, *.mkv and *.acc (only within *.mka files), and many more, I guess.
