Look harder, and use the Search button.

They're there. If nothing else, PowerDVD is an InstallSHield setup, so use -r and make a .ISS file.

Use pskill.exe (or taskkill) to terminate the applications right after install. (just put them in RunOnceEX as the next entry after the install file.

pskill.exe -t hh.exe
pskill.exe -t Ad-Aware.exe

So I found out about this whole thing yesterday and after working for 2 full days I now have a 98% working cd! heres my list: acrobat 7, divX codec, FireFox, iTunes, Nero, PowerDVD, SAV 9, WinRAR, WMP10. I was thinkin about making it a dual cd\DVD install and adding office 2003 as well as some other apps.

You can also take the entire installation directory, create a SFX WinRAR file and just have it extract to your Program Files directory. As shown in the version I've created here: http://rockent.brink...dAwareSE105.exe

In my unattended install, for security programs, i'm using the last versions of this programs:

Quote

Ad-Aware
SpyBot SD
Spyware Blaster
MS AntiSpyware BETA (testing it...)
AVG Anti-Virus
Kerio Personal Firewall

I'm thinking to put also aSquared for trojan finding.

What do you think of this list? Is too much? Or it's ok? What programs do you use?

Thanks.

Although i risk being unpopular, i have to resort to cross-posting.

Has anyone noted a problem when installing Alcohol during T-13 sequence
(part of unattended windows install) ?

I have a problem that there's no product name and icon entry in "add/remove
programs" window. The program itself runs fine.

Other msi-based setups install fine (acro6 and alanoll's winamp).
