use the /saveinf=filename and /loadinf=filename to disable the progs you don't want and wmp classis, download it seperatly and do the same to the installer

just a guess..

personally i use a VBS file to install K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, because i don't want some codecs which install themselves, even if i don't select them for installation (3ivx in fact).

so it permits to entirely select things. a good point i think.

Which version are you using ?

Since the version 1.10, the components names changed :

Not sure if this affects it, but maybe you need to set the Dir= line to something.

Dir is the path of the destination folder. If you leave out this line, then it will install into the default folder.

....i want it in the default (/program files) folder...do u think the %system folder% command will work in the dir= line?

try to run it again with the /saveinf=C:\moo.inf switch. I can only assume you have a bad inf that you tried to make yourself, this should fix it.
