Hi
I want to stop my brother at school from installing and playing games on computer
I will install a fresh windows with office and other essential programs then lock the computer from installing other software which will turn game maniac brother into a student
But how ?(in windows 9x)

Difficult to do on a Win9x box. You may have to resort to purchasing third party software that will provide security functionality.

Maybe that. It's shareware. The junior high that I used to attend used that on their Win95 installs.
It's not foolproof, though. If you have a boot disk, you can (obviously) mount your installation and disable it from loading.

Just set a BIOS password. Whats wrong with that?
Press delete when you turn on computer, clikck "Set User/supervisor" password.
Supervisor password is the second one you can use if your brother changes your.

Which windows version is this?
Win95 and Win98 original retail editions had a tool on the CD called "PolEdit" for exactly these kindof things (in a folder called "ResourceKit", if I remember right).
