For those of you that use the Copy to and Move to RegTweak, it has some unwanted side effects.

If you insert a audio cd into your drive. and on the left had side of explorer
you should see a play all button if u press this it will try to move or copy
the files. Same goes if u try to play all mp3 in a folder.

Here is the fix.

1. Remove your copy2 and move2 regtweak.
2. Follow the instructions below

here is the instructions

Extract the the DLL in this folder: "$OEM$\$$\System32\"
And run this command from the batch-files you use for unattended setup to tell windows on setup to register it:

CODE
regsvr32 /s /i ContextMenuExt.dll

i forgot to mention that regsvr32 is part of windows.

you can run this from prepare.cmd

*Credit goes to m4dh0 for compiling, XPero who found the source code, evilvoice for removing the authors name, mumtaz the author, prathapml for providing the coding for UnXP :hello:

How would you unregister this context menu?

Because unless I'm doing something wrong then play all doesn't even work, I click it but it doesn't start loading any files

@BrokenHope
Is there a good reason why you'd cross-post the same thing in 2 different threads? You have a post similar to above here - the old thread. And its been answered too, in the old thread.
Desist from such actions - it becomes difficult to keep track of topics. :)

Okay then, first off, thanks to all for getting this working. This tweak has been around for quite a while, and I am surprised that this hadn't been tended to before.

Next... can someone explain to me, please, the following...

I don't do an unattended setup, so, have no bat file to add this to.

Can I simply add the .dll to system32, and then register it?
Is copyto.zip and ContMenuExt.zip no longer needed then?
Will it add both copy/move?
Or is it still just copy?

/too many questions. ;)

Was brave, and I answered my own question.

Again, thanks goes out to those involved in fixing this very useful tweak.

Will it work properly if i place ContextMenuExt.dll in system32 folder and enter regsvr32 /s /i ContextMenuExt.dll in the "Run" box, thanks.

I have done it and i works i ask just in case doing it this way causes errors.

Hello,

This solution still contains bugs.

If you right click an item on your start-menu favourites (new style) the Copy To... Move To... buttons appear twice.

Screenshot below and i implemented the solution exactly as outlined above.

Are you sure you aren't using regtweaks along with the DLL? It works fine for me.

Hi Ryan,

I'm not using the *.DLL and registry to duplicate the tweak. I've removed the *.DLL and i now have no 'Copy To... Move To...' options at all after install.

Start menu entries are often not just like other files.
Maybe that you have one shortcut for Autoruns in a "All Users" subfolder and another in current user : two files which appear as one but both are still referenced.

It may also be related to another tweak such as the one that lets you select a shortcut (the .lnk file) rather than the file it is pointing to.

Just some ideas.

I've noticed this for sometime.

If I right click on an item from the programs list it always happens, regardless of weather there's a single entry or not.

I just ignore it cos the only other option is to use a reg tweak and that has is own draw backs.

It could also be a conflict with another shell extension. My only suggestion would be to test it on a fresh install without any programs or additional extentions installed.

Good luck.
