whats the differance in the Pentium III
and the Pentium III -S

I found out it stands for Server. I will only work on server boards.

I couldn't find any reference to dual P3 processors other than the xeon .18 micron The "S" designation seems to be server but not dual oriented.There are a lot of batches of Intel types.I hope AMD doesn't get that way.

Yep, the "S" with the P3 Series, stands for Server..

It will only work on server boards...will not work on desktop boards...the voltages are different...Damned Intel...
