Revisiting an old issue. With the original method (post #1) I was seeing HighMAT listed in Windows Update. With this newer method, I am not. I think EvilVoice was curious about this.

For the life of me though, I can't figure out why the original method would have caused that to happen.

7zs.sfx is in 7-zip dir...there is also a 7zSC.sfx in there too, but the reason I do this is because I wanted an icon for the setup file...I had a wmp10 icon from crystal svg pack and so I extracted the icon, opened 7zs.sfx and replaced icon, then saved, then upx'd so it would not take up soo much space.

Look for 'svcpack.in_'

To extract it: expand -r svcpack.inf
Modify the file
To recompacti: makecab svcpack.inf

Do it after Nlite, it's better (or inside nlite, is it possible ?)

i just added it to the end

You must add command line under [SetupHotfixesToRun] section
And put files in '\i386\svcpack' folder

thanks for clearing that up but what about dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif?
can you explain where to add the lines in those files because i found multiple places where i could put them
like i found 5 different sections of [sourcedisksfiles]

No need to put lines under dosnet.inf or txtsetup.sif for files under svcpack folder and execute in svcpack.inf..
