on one of my new builds of XPpro sp2, when i shut down, it takes me to a screen saying "it is safe to turn off the PC now" I then have to hold the power button down for a few seconds to cut the power.

How do i set it to power down completely after shutting windows down???

Thanks :(

Thanks,

Had a look at Control PAnel/ power options but it wasnt an option.

Also checked out the BIOS power section and cant seem to see where to modify that setting?

Its an Aopen AX6B motherboard.

I found this at MS - it may be what you need to read. Try it anyway.
