Hey,
I just picked up a old Panasonic EB-G520 and a Nokia 5110 at a garage sale. and they both had sim cards, charge cords and covers. I turned both of them on, and they had a PIN code on them, so I went down to the guy I got them off, and asked if he knew the PIN codes for them, he said no. I put in '1234' '0000' and '1111' but then the SIM card got locked and asks me for my PUK code. I have no idea what phone number they. The sim cards are from Telstra.
(I have one working Virgin Mobile SIM card, in my Nokia 3200)

my daughter put a lock code in her phone and after a certain number of failed attempts to guess the number, it locked also.
The ONLY solution was to go to the carrier and get a new SIM card

But when you get your new SIM, ask them for your PUK; then keep it written in a safe place.
Some companies allow you to register on their site (www) then get your PUK for free.
I'm a VODAFONE user and that's what I did.
