problem with sp2.0beta 2 and system commander 8.1 Rate Topic: -----

when i use this then system commander wants me to update files then it adds 2 windows 98 se icons a gui and a prompt and if i try to delete them i cannot boot to my other oses unless i allow it to add those 2 win 98 se boot icons
your previous sp 1.6.2 never did this
i obviously cannot format
any help would be appreciated

I don't understand the problem. Can you try to explain? Perhaps, you can add a screenshot...

i cannot get a screenshot because it tells me this before i load windows
it could just be a problem with system commander thinking i am adding another windows 98,maybe if i try some things we shall see

sp2 change io.sys and system commander detect it and add new OS
that is the problem :)

Delete old OS or update new files in old and del new.

so i delete the old win 98 icon and leave the new ones the prompt and gui?won't the MBR get messed if i delete it?
