I got an old PS1 that I put a 3gig HD using a DDO (Dynamic Drive Overlay) It is 30mhz with 10mb worth of memmory running Winn4.0 Service Pack 4...Ie 5.5 and Office 2000 Pro...Now granted it takes 2min to boot but once it is started it is golden...and IE takes 1 min to start...it surfs real good with a 56k modem...

It is also a dual boot win95 machine as well...installed to different partitions....and I have hid the NT4 from Win 95 and visa Versa....

How old is the memory and HD you are using? That's seriously crazy!

Put in a P2 or P3 or something a bit faster!

I already have 10 computers up and running...I salvaged this when someone was throwing it out...So its price was good...and I took its 300mb hd out and put it in a American Eagle portable laptop...circa 1980...

and the AE is not included in my 10 computers...

My other computers most are quad boot....with 2 that have 4 switch hd's...

and in the AE got win3.1 to run on it
It was originally designed to run only dos
