Sorry :blushing:

I have the XP start menu enabled. I want the My Network PLaces that can be enabled through Start \Properties \ Customize \ Advanced.

It then appears in the top left of the start menu along with stuff like my Documents.

Hope thats a bit clearer

Cheers

Fezzer

download regsnap, take a snapshot of the registry b4 u have the icon enabled

take another after the icon is in the start menu, u can save it as a .reg file & put the contents in your other .reg file

or search the registry tweaks thread for the key (longer imo)

hope this helps :)

Click Start --> All Programs --> My Network Places
Then right click and choose 'Show on Desktop'

That will make it appear where you want.

You (he/she) could use this reghack to convert Windows to the 'Classic' interface that will have My Computer and My Network Places on the desktop.
