What I liked about it - its ability to convert VirtualPC disks to VMware disks. Lets hear it for compatibility! :yes:

I heard this version is really slow because its a beta and runs in debug mode. Only beta testers should use this. I would wait for the final version.

Do a "/A" to make an AIP. Install from AIP using "/QB" switch.
Export registration info from the key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\License.ws.5.0

Then apply the .REG silently.

How to get the trial one-month evaluation key:
Register at the vmware site and then login to your account and request the download to get started. Then say okay to the EULA, you will see a screen with download links come up. At this point the eval keys have been e-mailed to you. Use the key with above downloads.
