Do you have "File and Printer Sharing" installed?

Or, do you have a Firewall installed anywhere??

You have to be in the Same Workgroup on all your computer (Right Click My Computer --> Properties --> Computer name tab --> Click Change)

Mine is MSHOME

Also try to connect manualy to the hosting computer:

Click Start --> Run --> \\Computername\C$

Computername can also be the ip adress of the hosting computer.
Replace C$ if your music folder is on another drive.

It's gonna ask you for a password. (I hope, otherwise it's not well protected) Because C$ is an administrative share, you will have to enter the password of an administrator group member.

If this is working, you should be able to map your share. From an explorer windows go to tools --> Map network drive.

Try this, it may not work but worth a try (if NetBios isnt already installed)

goto control panel >> Network Connections

select your network connection and right click >> properties

click "install" under general tab

select any application with the name of NetBios

click add, and install it using the following setup program

you may need to restart your computer

install this on all computers you want file + printer sharing for
