I only have the Diskeeper Professional Edition.msi from my Downloaded installations directory...is it possible to create a silent install with only this file?...And is so, do i use the common switches for msi files?

Hey buddy, if you have the msi already, I think you can just use /qb or /qn to install it silently. But I'm not sure where you got your msi. Is it from your %temp%? Or did you make an admin install?

It came from the Diskeeper Pro 9.exe...it was in my C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Installations\Diskeeper Professional\{352A9601-E43B-4CFF-BCA4-CF719BBD083D}

The size of the msi from the %temp% directory is about 20mb. And the one from the admin install is about 5mb. If your msi is 20mb, I think you can use /qb or /qn with that. But if your msi is less than that, you can't use it without the other files.

@durex

Do i just need to add this to my runonceex.cmd?

%systemdrive%\install\diskeeper9\admin-point.msi INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Utilities\Diskeeper" /QB

but i replace the admin-point by my msi file and since i want the default location i don't need the INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\Utilities\Diskeeper"
