This may sounds stupid as it only saves a Few Mb. But i was wondering if you could stip out component that you don't install in Klite Mega Pack?
I know there are commands that you can choose what not to install. But i will want to strip it out to save a little spave. Anyidea?

If you don't need all those features and you're looking for a smaller package forget the Mega pack, just download what you need. There's a Full, Standard, and even a Basic version of K-Lite available.

@iwod
vcBlackBox has a point. I use mega pack but I need most things in it for encoding/decoding. If you trying to save mbs, use standard or basic version of k-lite codec pack. Full is only needed if do encoding like I do. But I use mega pack because i need quicktime + realmedia.

I need Quicktime, and real.
But i don't need BS player. I don't need .....
All three pack has things that i don't want. So i am asking if stripping from installer is possible.
Of course i am only wondering. If everthing was so easy there wouldn't be 5 million codec pack out there.

Have you tried the Unattended Codec-Pack?
It has most popular codecs included in KLITE--plus Realplayer+Quicktime Alternatives.
