:hello:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Wow, very nice! :) :o

P.S.: on your blog you've got more screenshots, of which one with a chat window. May I ask what program+skin that is? (I guess Trillian + a certain skin?) Thx.

It's been a while. I was really satisfied with my previous desktop so it took a while to change. Does anyone have any suggestions for a metre to replace that (IMO somewhat) ugly rainmeter on the right side of the screen?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You could try using Samurize or Coolmon. AveDesk with SysStats also allows for displaying of system information like that.

Screen from 09 July, 2005

http://tac0.org/imag...eens/09july.png

Visual Style: Foton
WinAmp theme: Foton
Firefox theme: Longhorn Inspirat
Desktop backdrop: #05263A
and Y'z Dock

Could the thing that is "non standard" about zxian's screen be the fact that the PAGEFILE is listed as a partition?

Or is it the fact that you are talking to a REAL LIVE GIRL on the IM (or so it would seem)... :P

And your STUFF partition is probably in fact porn. That's where i hide all my STUFF.

@taco.bob

No... that's just the fact that my pagefile partition hasn't been hidden from "My computer" yet with TweakUI.

And.... Colin? Colin is a guy... :P but I was talking to my g/f at the same time though... :)

And no... I don't have 78GB of pr0n.... just 3GB... j/k (that's part of what girlfriend's are for ;))

EDIT Dangit... I forgot to add... nice screenie - clean and simple, the way I like them.

Welcome to MSFN!

Hehe.... 10 points for SiMoNsAyS! :D

Official Release Date - No clue. I'm working with a preview copy right now and am on the list of Beta testers (no, don't ask me for a copy, cus I won't give it to you :P).Chances are though, that it won't be too long. For 1.2, the "beta" stage only lasted about 2-3 weeks if I remember correctly, and what I've got running has been rock solid on my desktop. My laptop is a different story though, but that could be because I've followed Bold_fortune's guide and removed a bunch of files... I need to reformat anyways...
Resource Usage - No different than 1.2 as far as I can tell. There are a couple of neat features that Andreas has added in, like the ability to flip certain desklets over and a cool new close feature for other desklets.

Flippy Video
Sucky Video
