What you describe is normal behaviour. You should always shut-down before removing/adding hard-disks (even if it is on USB).If you mean to say, its still coming up with an error even after a restart, then try going into safe-mode and disabling the Mass-Storage device from device manager. After that, it should be (hopefully) fine while running in normal mode without your Mass-Storage device. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
