hi all,

I've managed to get a huge amount of apps to install silently and without problems apart from one! and thats quicktime.

Im using the QuickTimeFullInstaller.exe along with the .ini file

It seems to install OK, but once it moves onto another app a dialog box pops up saying that qtplugininstaller.exe has generated an error.

When within windows it generates an error in the eventlog:

Faulting application qtplugininstaller.exe, version 6.5.1.17, faulting module quicktime.qts

I think this is the bit that runs in the taskbar? i might be wrong but since windows has not reached this stage then this might be why its generating an error?

Can someone help plz? Im on my last app and im ready to burn a proper dvd :D

Try swgreed's codecpack.
It has quicktime, real, xvid and MANY others.
