explorer, did you follow this article?

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...;304992&sd=tech

Also Try...

I found that you need 2 images on the server....I have a regualr XP and then PE

Always make sure it appears alphabetically last, and that you are using the correct flat image backing....

ex I use winpe1.2 so I need to use XPSP1

This is the info I've discovered for win2k, I don't know what the deal with win2k3 is yet?

I followed the microsoft article. It worked fine on a compaq system with Intel 100 adapter. But when with an IBM pc , its starts with "Starting WinPE " hangs and then says"unable to find the network adapters. Any exact way to solve the network card issu?!!

with win 2003 serverits enough if you a single image. i work win 2003 and the microsoft article proved successful. but as i said there are problems with different network adapters. winpe doesnt start on a ibm oc having intel pro 100 onboard lan. well certain sites have given some tips like creating $oem$ folder inside i386 folder....................but in vain. any successful attempts from genius?!!
