Hey guys, for those of you who have used WinPE and RIS together, is there a way to make it automatically start an MFC application or any other exe for that matter after it starts up? I have written some batch files to do things like deploying our custom OS and partitioning the drives, I was wondering if I can just link it to an MFC application so when we deploy this system to the end user, they just have to select a network boot, and click a button to deploy the OS

Thanks

Nevmind all, I've figured it out.

Use the startnet.cmd file in

RemoteInstallPath\Setup\English\Images\WINPEIMAGE\i386\system32

to launch whatever you want, anyone ever figure out a way to turn off the popup box that asks if you want to shutdown/quit/restart etc?

The solution for that is in a post here somewhere.
Has to do with copying a file somewhere if I recall.

Do a search on this forum.

This was posted recently. I missed it. Here is how.

copy winbom.ini from i386 to the root folder where i386 is present. this will solve the problem
