Can some1 recommanded dvd software that can play video cd's and dvd's the best freeware software you seen?

I would recommend windows media player classic plus the mpeg2 codec which can be found at vcdhelp.com

During install, i would allow it to install all possible codecs.... the players it's up to you to only install that Media Player Classic, or others to compare. What's great here is that non-bloated, non-privacy violating, & just-as-good-if-not-better versions of the major players(Real, WMP, Quick) are installed... plus full versions of others like BS, DivX, etc.

As Bonkers[ says, you can do all your viewing/listening w/ his suggestion. IF/AS you get more involved, you can compare for yourself others.
