Hi
i'm trying to get HARDiNFO 2005 v5.0 Build 2905 to run with autoit

this is as far as i get:
Run("setup.exe")

WinWaitActive("HARDiNFO 2005 Enterprise")
SEND("{ENTER}")
WinWaitActive("HARDiNFO 2005 Enterprise")
SEND("{SPACE}{SPACE}")
SEND("{TAB}{right}{ENTER}")

in the next screen there are name, company, and serial number
i did try TAB 3 but that stops the install

is there someone that has a already setup script for hardinfo?

I can't believe you're using autoit for this msi!

I know a little about autoit, but I don't use it for msi's! Installing this software is really easy.

HARDiNFO.msi /qb!- PIDKEY=YOUR-SERIAL-NUMBER-HERE

I forgot to mention here. If you want to specify the name and the company name, use

COMPANYNAME=

and

USERNAME=

Hmm.. Not really. :D I have a different source but I don't have the link now. Just do your search on Microsoft's TechNet. Anyway, not ALL msi's use all those switches. Like I said in the other thread, not all msi's are the same. For my msi's, I can use TOTOYMOLA as a property if I want to. And of course, that is only present in my msi. Alanoll's winamp has different properties too. MSI's created using WISE have different properties also. The list here is the most common for public properties for msi's. It's good to know them.
