The background color of the gif is rather off, not truly transparent.
As you can see above, it needs a fix.

Hmm,
Small images that get seen a bit lesser than the main interface..... it may not be on the top of priority just yet - because lot of changes are still planned. Also, I'm here to ask the admins to put in a lot of hacks/modifications
So when most of the board is settled, then we'll start looking at replacing the icons, and so on...
