i have the same CPU and my temps are primarly around 39c on a full load and my motherbaord is around 27c. I would recommend letting that get any higher than 45-49. Thats not good at all. I would kill the heatsink that comes with it for better cooling. Heres a desktop screenie of what my temps are under full load.

the higher one (47) is your cpu "a little high"....what temp monitoring is that? and what MB do you have?

Ya .. I thought so too ... I don't really know what its monitoring. I think (hope) that the left one is the the CPU and the right one is ... something else
I have a soltek SL-85ERV2 (se it here) ... Im using the 0.18A Intel box cooler ...

I tryed that Hmonitor on my laptop an it reports 65c off load and 73c on full load for a P4mobile 2.2Ghz

I know Laptops run warm...but those temps seem a bit out of the rance of safe....then agian in not too familar with the exact prpper temps for a new P4 mobil
