Uniprocessor Hal Vs Acpi Hal Rate Topic: -----

I have to force the HAL from "ACPI Uniprocessor" HAL to "Advanced
Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC" HAL during the sysprep so the image works on an older model PC. This older HAL seems to work fine on all equipment. Are there any disadvantages to doing this?
