Other Problem With Usb Rate Topic: -----

as for the mmc card reader/writer,i can't use an external hd 40gb with the usb.
this time i've got the drivers,which i properly installed it but can't find the drive.
i mean,after the installation i should find a drive with the letter D or something,but i still have all the same drives but the external hd!

How about upgrading to a real operating system with real USB support? XP is you friend!

marsden, thats 2 threads in 2 mins u went around bashing 98, if u didnt realize, your in the 9x section of the forum, so chances are, ppl using win9x wont upgrade 2 xp, & maybe they CANT, for 1 reason or another

There is a huge difference between "can't" and "won't"... I'm not bashing anything. Sometimes the solution to a problem is to move forward. Brings up the question on how many times to you want to beat the dead horse around the block...

Are we really helping 98 users by applying more duct tape and bailing wire on a 8 year old OS?
