Winnt.sif And Off Options Rate Topic: -----

I set in my winnt.sif this:

msmsgs=off
msnexplr=off
OEAccess=off
media_clips=off
media_utopia=off
Accessopt=off
templates=off
fax=off
Clipbook=off
hypertrm=off
rec=off
pinball=off
freecell=off
minesweeper=off
solitaire=off
spider=off
hearts=off
zonegames=off


...but dont work ! all this programs has been installed to windows !

WHY please ???

if i remember correctly, and some one please correct me if I am wrong, it is because that function only removes the access points (shortcuts, etc.) to the program not the program itself

These settings work fine for me. Perhaps you should post your complete answer file (minus Product Keys and passwords). As mentioned by bacd some of these entries only remove the programs shortcuts, not the actual files.

Well, the placement of the [components] block matters.
You might have placed it too high or too low. Check for the sequencing in others' answer files.

Check the UnattendMode, if different from FullUnattended or DefaultHide, the [Components] is not processed.
