I am wondering which way is best to integrate the hotfixes to my xpsp2. I want to do it manual do i use the /integrate method or the SVCPack.inf method. I also want to install other applications such as firefox1.0 winrar 3.40 adobe 7.0 directx 9.0c windows mediaplayer 10 . How do i go about doing this. Does it matter if I use Winnt.sif and runonceex? I have gotten so far as to integrats sp2 on the cd and i am now confused with what to do next.

I personally use the /integrate switch for all of the critical hotfixes and runonce for everything else. though watch out with kn885835 and kn885250, search for the thread with these as the title for a work around.

No way is necessarily better or worse than another it is mostly personal preference.
