I run a small dos driven program of our server, so i have created a shortucut to the program on my desktop...I run the program and it runs ok...but if I am in any other program they run REALLY REALLY slow...

so say I have the program minimized to the taskbar and i am trying to write a new email message the new message window can take up to 2 minutes to open up, but if I close the dos box the message appears immediatley. I have checked task manager ad the CPU is at 1005 usage when the program is running :(:(

how can I make it run quicker all round PLEASE HELP!!

Unfrtunately it often happens executing "some" DOS programs under NT.

The only working solution I know of is Commercial:
http://www.tamedos.com/

a 30 day trial is available, so that you can see if it helps in your case before buying it.
