modicr
I have three XP SP2 computers in LAN. I can access the first one from the third onewith "Remote Desktop" without problems. But it is not possible to get to the second one.The remote desktop client just shows the following message "The remote computer has ended the connection"in the moment when I enter IP number and press button "connect".Windows firewall seems to be configured on all PCsin the same way. Listening port is 3389.Can you help me in solving this problem.Roman
firefoxthebomb
Just a thought, but you can use WinVNC it is a free tool you could install on all your computers. This is just an alternative if you can not get the remote desktop thing working. army20
To use RDP (remote desktop procedure) you need to have a password on at least the admin account and on the username you are trying to connect with.If you don't have a password on the "administrator" account the remote computer does not accept any connection for RDP.
