mmainio
Hello,I'm not sure if this the right forum to ask that but...I added /inram -switch into ERDC's txtsetup.sif (according to Flyakites multibootguide... If you would like to be able to switch cds while using ERD) and it worked fine. But I'd like to know:-what does ERDC do differently when loading normally or with that switch ?-and are there any disadvantages if i always use that switch concerning usage of ERDC? Thanks, mmainio
dahak
as far as any differances is, instead of having to load allthe programs off the cd, it will load it all into ram, making it faster to open up the program.disadvantages is that you need alot of system ram on the machine to beable to do it effectively. I remember reading that 512MB or more is recommended.
