I think it works in a way similair to the application prefecth technology in windows xp but it appears to work for all versions of win 9x, windows 2000 and even NT 4.x. I have never gotten to testing it, and developement of it seems to have come to a stop.. However, the site it still up where you can dowload it.. So, without any further blabbing... To be safe.. Just back up the files you try it on by copying it.. I wouldnt call it damage, but it actually slowed down a few apps I tried it on.. It didnt break it completely. But it did make it a tad bit slower.. Just used the IE6 installer to reinstall the files and it was back up to speed again.
