I has just noticed that the US version of the PSTwo has both a ethernet and modem port, while the UK version only has a ethernet port.

Why is this?
Can't they both have the same features?

Probably it's just a different version of the PStwo?

Might be, but they should have the same hardware.

no they don't have the same hardware as 1 is prepared to display 60hz refresh rates (ntfs) and the other 50hz rates (pal).

apart from this (as it happens in japan) broadband is not the same.

other than this (video mode and broadband) the rest should be exactly the same, including hardware

Yeah that's what I mean.

But why not a dial-up comnneter on the Pal version?
