Hey there, does anyone here know how to make applications install into the folders that you want? Ok, that didnt make sense....

lets say that the default install of a program is C:\program files\program....
is there a way to make the programs install in another folder? ie. c:\apps\applications\application\.. ?

Any help is very much appreciated :)

Thanks!!!

For some apps yes, for some not; depends on the installer.

I had a friend who always installed application isto specific
folders, like C:\Utils, C:\Graphics, C:\Video etc...

After two years he realised it was pointless and useless.
