Helloooooo, I havent posted here in months... so hello everyone who doesnt know me (that means everyone expect tris, and aaron)

Right... I want to ask your opinion...

What OS should I get on my new PC... I'm thinking of getting Win 2k pro, or XP pro, but I cant decide.

I'm gonna be using the PC for making websites, and the odd bit of Counter-Strike

(bare in mind a id*** when it comes to all the techy stuff...) :)

I like 2k more then XP, but XP is better for gaming. I would recommend XP, because you can do anything.

2k pro XP is bloated with noob like features u dont need and would probably turn off anyway only thing good about it is the nice looking GUI but overall 2k seems faster and more stable dont let any fool try and tell u games and stuff run faster in xp they run about the same give or take 3 or so frames per second.

btw hello dazza :)

install both and see which your prefer. just have XP on first, then partition your disk and install 2k second. i can partition it for you via remote if you want, just install XP on your own.

still want a quote off me dazz?

Windows XP! You want it to run as fast as 2000, use Windows Classic Theme. Windows 2000 is old, you can't even terminate any process using Task Manager.

You can terminate process's, you can even do that in Windows NT.
