ok i am preparing a XP pro tablet edition 2005 image. i have the image setup correctly to my specifications, i created the sysprep.inf using the setup manager. The issue i am having is this: when i run the tool (sysprep -mini -reseal) the tool runs and then reboots. when the computer comes back up, it runs the mini wizard, and then shows the installing networking components... This wipes out my wireless card's settings as well as enabling the 2 devices i disabled in the image. I want the mini wizard to skip the networking components as i have already configured all of my settings in the image.

I think (but not sure) this is by design.

This I think you can solve by disabling them in the BIOS first so that Mini-Setup won't detect them.

found out that sysprep does not support multiple network cards. it sets the same setting across the board when multiple devices are present.
