Hello,
Having problems to load Windows XP Pro aswell as Windows 2000 Pro on a SCSI HDD, I finaly decided to start a low-level format from the SCSI 29160N card.
I'm not sure it's as it should be, (I still cannot load OS except Windows 98SE) therefor, I wonder if someone can tell me where I can have a real full low-level utility ?
Thanks in advance,
Jean

Most hard drive manufacturers make available a hard drive setup utility. Visit your hard drive manufacturer's web site for the utility. Look in the download section or support section. Be sure to have your model and/or serial number ready. You want to download the correct utility based on your specific hard drive, okay.
Alternately, post the hard drive information here and maybe we can locate it for you.
Also, make sure your PC is Windows 2000 or Windows XP compatiable. Visit the Microsoft site, www.microsoft.com for more information. You may post your system specs here and we can sort it out for you.
Hope this helps

- P4 > 1.5 GHz > 1GB DDR > SCSI 29160N > Seagate Cheetah HDD 35GB. model : ST336752LW.
Does this help ?
