i can install sophos anti virus unattended using the command line
setup.exe -a -in -inl -config=1 -Updaccount=domain\username\password
How do you automatically/unattended change the configuration settings ie setting up schualed jobs, altering intercheck settings etc

Does the program has export setting?
Otherwise you have to search it on registry.

cant export the settings and when you try to import the reg setting the software some how it detects this and rests the registary and defaults setting back.
It must keep a file some place or a regsetting thats doing this but i cant find it, driving me made now.

Can you not run filemon from sysinternals and it will let you know which files are applied and possibly changed after you try and pply your settings taht are being overwritten.
