how to get xplode like the screenshots? Rate Topic: -----

how to get xplode like the screenshots? i mean integrated in the windows installer itself, like on this screenie:

but what i would also like, is not to see xplode overlapping the standard text, but id like that xplde fills the entire right frame of the windows install.

is that possible??

Yes, by reading the documentation and taking a look at the example scripts it IS possible...

It was new for me too 2 months ago but by reading the docs I found out by myself how to do it. Please try it too first.

This has been discussed before. :)

First, use GFXInstall instead of OriginalInstall.
Now, edit WINNTBBU.DLL to delete all the text from the setup.
Next, edit the XPlode-config to place it wherever you want.
Last, run XPlode at cmdlines.txt.

And search :P

why should i use GFSinstall instead of OriginalInstall??

Original install is the same as the windows installer...

OriginalInstall uses backgrounds, GFXInstall does not, so it blends in better with the setup screen.

Dunno what you mean with "Windows Installer". XPlode isn't a MSI :)
