firefox 1.0.4 beta Rate Topic: -----

its quite better then 1.0.3 (on 1.0.3 i could not log into my etomite blog, on 1.0.4 beta it works fine :thumbup )

btw, 2005 is a year 04 a month, 21 a day...and what does that 05 mean? :blink:

i think it means build number, you know the fifth try before compiling...

i'm using the 1.0.4 build from 2005.04.19 and runs without problems :thumbup

i think its 2005 as its released in 2005 and the rest is the date obviously
i don't know how they update their file as but they might be sorting with years.
2003 - 01.05.03 v.001 ?
2004 - 04.05.04 v1.0
etc..

its funny how they released a new beta after a short time of 1.0.3

You _DO_ know the only thing different is the version number right? NOTHING else is new. :) It's exactly the same as 1.0.3, so your problem could probably be solved by an easy reinstall.

If you want something new, go grab a nightly. :P

It may seem like nothing is new. Like no new features and etc. But they have increased the security and the reliablility in the program.

No checkins were done in the 1.0.4 branch...

Believe you me, if it's Firefox, I know it. :P

Directories are named according by YYYY-MM-DD-HH-[Milestone].
Files in the directory 1999-06-01-19-M6 are Milestone 6
candidates built on June 1, 1999 at 7:00pm PDT.
