I beleive that you can also do this using the OEM Preinstallation Kit, as well as a number of other little tweaks and hacks that are normally reserved for OEMs.

I tested this out some time ago and this CLSID is the only place it'll work. So if there is already an OEM link present (say if you have a factory PC/LT) you have to replace it but not add another one.

Yes, it'll only work with this CLSID.
