Found this fun and thought you might enjoy it. Geek-O-Meter!

Just how much of a geek are you?

Pick an answer for each of the questions that follow and at the end we'll give you a detailed breakdown of your entire personality.

But remember, you must answer truthfully or the snoopers from Microsoft will find out and rescind your XP licence.

geek (noun, slang)
Etymology: perhaps alteration of dialectal geck, from Low German gek, meaning fool.

1. Person accomplished in matters scientific or technical, or particularly single-minded.
2. Professional entertainer specialising in bizarre acts, such as biting the heads off live pigeons.
3. Person who carries more processing power about their person than existed in the entire world in 1979.
4. You. Don't try denying it.

My results were:
You are practically computer-literate, in an almost real sense. This could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on whether you use your knowledge for good or for ill. Looking at your answers, I'd almost certainly say it was a bad thing.

Be sure to get your Certificate at the end of the quiz :)

lol, that was fun

my results...

You are 40% geek

You are certainly no computer expert, but you can probably tell a keyboard from a mouse almost instantly. Hone those skills, learn to use Word and maybe even investigate email. Who knows, it might come in useful if you ever manage to get a job.

Official Certificate of Geekiness :sorcerer

This is to certify that piaqt has been tested in the fire of the Geek-o-meter and has shown her class in achieving the brilliant Geek Rating of 79%. Accordingly she has been awarded the following accolade...

"You're on a particularly useless cusp known as "being a bit of a nerd". Nobody really trusts what you say about computers, but at the same time, they keep asking you really annoying questions that they could answer for themselves if they just spent five minutes thinking about it. You also have to spend a lot of time not having a life in order to keep your slightly inadequate skills up to date. You have a choice: work harder and learn more, or give up and start to enjoy life."

Lol. 17%...
"There's barely a trace of geekiness in you. You can just about handle a toaster, though you quite often end up scraping the black stuff off the toast (and how does that get there?). But a computer is more or less completely beyond you. Go talk to your children about all this stuff or, if you don't have any, someone else's. Be careful not to get arrested though."

I'm not stupid...

48% Geek w00t

"Solid, if unimaginative scoring. You probably know enough about computers to get by, though I bet you have to bluff a bit when it comes to talking to your kids/IT department. Pay a bit more attention when others are trying to help you and you might not be such a drain on everyone's time."
